Carl Nielsen is already part of everyday life in Danish kindergartens - most children know "Two larks in love have nested" and ”Look! The sun is red, Mum".
You now have the opportunity to attend a Carl Nielsen children's concert, performed by children from kindergartens on Vesterbro together with music-teacher students from The Royal Danish Academy of Music. The students have made teaching material about the composer for children between the ages 3 and 6. Through games, songs, dances, listening, drawing and tales the children have with the students for quite some time worked with a selection of Carl Nielsen's symphonies, operas, chamber music and folksy tunes. It has become a great concert, where the children perform songs, music and dancing and the students play music by Carl Nielsen. The concert lasts about 40 minutes and appeals to all, also day-care centres.
